Acacia (agátový) honey is the one Slovaks give to children and stir into tea: pale gold, mild, floral, and it stays liquid for a year or more because of its high fructose content. Ours comes from a family apiary on the eastern slopes of the Malé Karpaty hills above Modra, where the false-acacia groves flower in May, and is harvested, filtered and jarred by the beekeeper — nothing heated, nothing blended.
250 g glass jar with a screw lid, labelled to the 2026 EU honey rules (country of harvest: Slovakia 100 %). Shipped in a moulded-pulp sleeve inside the parcel; in our test shipments to Berlin and Amsterdam not one jar broke.
A natural spoon for the Christmas oblátky, a Kávenky and a Lyra Tanzania. Honey may crystallise in the cold — warm the jar gently in water to restore it.
Ingredients: acacia blossom honey. Not suitable for infants under 12 months.
