Lyra is the Slovak craft chocolate maker that put Nitra on the map for chocolate people: founded in 2008 by Karol Stýblo, it roasts and grinds cocoa beans itself, is listed by Cocoa Runners in London, and its bars sit in the shop of the National Czech & Slovak Museum in the US.
The Tanzania 72 % is made from Kokoa Kamili beans from the Kilombero valley — a fruity, bright dark chocolate with red-berry notes and a long clean finish. Two ingredients: cocoa beans and cane sugar. An 80 g bar in a paper sleeve, vegan and gluten-free by nature.
We ship Lyra September to April, in a padded mailer at the lowest EU parcel band; it also slots into any of our boxes as an add-on. Pair with the Slovak acacia honey or a strong coffee.
