A double-layer knitted headband in fine merino wool with a band of Čičmany ornaments in white on Modra blue — the kind of piece the Slovak label PEKNE makes for the Tatra ski season and that the National Czech & Slovak Museum shop in the US already stocks. Warm over the ears, breathable on the climb, one size for adults.
Knitted in Slovakia from 100 % merino (19.5 micron), which does not itch and dries fast; the pattern is knitted in, not printed, so it never fades. Hand-wash or wool cycle at 30 °C, dry flat.
