The same felted lamb's-wool slippers (papuče) from a family workshop in the Liptov valley — dense Slovak wool felted onto a soft leather sole, sheepskin lining, rolled cuff — in size M (EU 39–41), which fits most women and smaller men's feet.
Slovak sheep-farming country has been making wool footwear for centuries, and these are the modern version: warm, breathable, quiet on wooden floors, and washable on a wool cycle. The felt gives about half a size with wear; if you are between sizes choose the smaller one. M fits a foot length of 25–26.5 cm.
